Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

At NARES we respect your privacy and take your data seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you enter yourself when joining a loyalty program: your name, phone number, and date of birth (optional, used for birthday gifts). We also record your activity within the program, such as visit count, stamps or points collected, and rewards redeemed. For business owners, we collect the account and business details required to operate the service.

2. Why we collect it

We use your data to run the loyalty program: issuing your digital card, counting your stamps and points, letting you redeem rewards, and sending account notifications such as an upcoming subscription expiry or a gift you received. We do not use your data for any other purpose without your knowledge.

3. Data sharing

Your customer data is visible only to the business whose loyalty program you joined, so they can serve you and honour your rewards. NARES does not sell or rent your data to any third party, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may use technical service providers (such as hosting and databases) that are bound to protect the data.

4. How we protect your data

We use encrypted connections, restricted access permissions, and strict isolation between each business's data. Passwords are stored in hashed form and cannot be read by anyone — including the NARES team.

5. Your rights

You have the right to request a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account permanently. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond as soon as possible.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, or a business stops using NARES, we delete or anonymise the data within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any material change will be announced within the platform, and continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
